Bobbi Brown’s beauty brand will make its next stop in Dallas.

Jones Road, started by the makeup artist and entrepreneur about five years ago, is set to open on Knox Street on Friday, according to a statement. This is just the 10th retail site for the brand that has opened stores in New York, New Jersey, Florida and Chicago, along with Austin.

More up-and-coming brands are flocking to the Dallas-Fort Worth area as companies tap into spending buttressed by a growing population and a dynamic business environment. That’s included Glossier at NorthPark Center and Kith, which has a temporary store also in the Knox-Henderson area.

“Our team follows a market demand strategy when it comes to opening new stores,” Cody Plofker, CEO of Jones Road Beauty, said in an emailed statement. “We open in locations where we already have a strong online business, and we had that in Dallas, so it was an obvious target market for us. We are always on the lookout for potential retail expansion locations and when we found the perfect spot on Knox Street, we moved quickly to secure it.”

The new store will be at 3230 Knox St., Suite 100, and will cover about 1,300 square feet. The site will double as an experiential beauty boutique with six stations for makeup applications and skin-matching services, it said.

Bobbi Brown has a long history in the makeup industry. Estee Lauder acquired her brand in the 1990s before she stepped away about a decade ago and later started Jones Road.

“I often would come to Dallas to meet with Neiman Marcus’ beauty team, so now I get to come to visit my own Jones Road store, which is a thrill,” Brown, founder of Jones Road, said in a statement.
