Got a backyard in Texas that an iconic 2000s rock band can use for a show? The All American-Rejects are hoping you do.

Just months before the group swoops into San Antonio for an on-stage show at the Frost Bank Center, the members are on the hunt for a less traditional “venue” space for their 2025 House Party Tour. The band kicked off the pop-up series after the first show — a surprise appearance at the University of Southern California for a local college radio station — went viral back in April.

Since then, they’ve played everything from fraternity houses to gas stations in towns such as Ames, Iowa, Columbia, Missouri, and more. Now, the band is brining the party closer to home.

In a Sunday, August 24, video that has already racked up over 142,000 views, the band made a plea to its TikTok “Rejects,” to tease a tour stop in Texas. The members also announced an opportunity for fans hoping to attend the show — whether it be at the San Antonio Pearl, the University of Texas at Austin, or a random Joe’s backyard.

“We are having a contest for our next pop-up house party and it could involve you, if you use our sound for ‘Easy Come, Easy Go,’ in one of your little videos … We’ll fly you and a friend out to the show  — it’s going to be one that you don’t want to miss.”

The group encouraged those in Texas to also keep making videos with the song, as they will be giving away 350 tickets to fans. It will be last concert of the House Party Tour, according to a previous statement from the band, which read “We’re popping up in two more cities in the U.S. to baptize your backyard this month.” Shortly after that post, they performed at a property in Pittsburgh.

A submission form on the band’s website is still open, and asks for mostly logistical venue information — capacity, loading areas for equipment and other technical details.

Folks on social media have been calling on the musicians to choose their hometowns as their next stage. Many of the comments on TikTok are asking for them to stop in San Antonio, Dallas, or Austin. Since Texas is so large, those contest winners are going to be lucky to receive a free flight out to the location, even if they are local.

No other hints on where the Lone Star State show will take place have been released. However, last month, Alamo City local Mandy Adame went viral for a video of a venue she submitted to the band for consideration: a spacious backyard on San Antonio’s Northwest Side. It showed a covered patio with an upper deck, causing hundreds of local folks to beg that the spot be put on the list for consideration.

“The only two updates I have is that they reacted to my story on my submission and I saw their post stating they will be reviewing the submissions and if they pick you they’ll call you to make sure you’re serious,” Adame told MySA at the time. “As of right now I have not been picked but really hoping they will pick me.”

The All-American Rejects will perform alongside the Jonas Brothers in San Antonio on October 18 for the Jonas Brothers’ JONAS20 Greetings From Your Hometown tour. Tickets to the show are still available via Ticketmaster.
