Darby police have arrested a borough man in last week’s domestic killing of a woman.
On Saturday, Darby police along with the assistance of the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division arrested Ahmir Jamal Jackson, 24, in the death of Myanna Quin.
The shooting happened on Aug. 18 about 2:10 a.m. in the unit block of South Seventh Street.
Darby Police Chief Joseph Gabe said the shooting was arose from a domestic dispute between the couple.
Jackson was picked up Saturday and arraigned before District Judge Elizabeth S. Gallard on first- and third-degree murder and weapons charges. Bail was denied.
Jackson was taken to the Delaware County prison, the George W. Hill Correctional facility, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Sept. 3.
