The DART station will close for over three years while the Convention Center is under construction, officials said.
DALLAS — DART will close its Convention Center Station for over three years while the city works to expand the convention center, officials said.
In a social media post Monday, DART announced that it will soon close the station and that it will remain closed for about three and a half years. The Convention Center Station is on the red and blue lines, officials said.
Trains will continue to pass through the station, but passengers cannot get off the train there, according to the post.
Bus bays for routes 28, 106, 224 and 383 that stop at Convention Center Station will also be closed, DART said.
An exact closure date has not been released.
