Atlanta Dream can make a postseason push
USA Today’s Meghan Hall breaks down why the Atlanta Dream are legit WNBA title contenders this season.
Sports Seriously
The Connecticut Sun’s (9-28) three-game winning streak was snapped Aug. 25, as they fell to the New York Liberty (23-15) 81-79.
Connecticut was led in points by rookie Leïla Lacan, who scored 22. Aneesah Morrow and Marina Mabrey also turned in solid performances, scoring 18 and 16 points respectively.
Now the Sun turn their attention to their next opponent: Paige Bueckers and the 9-29 Dallas Wings. Dallas won their first two games against the Sun this season, defeating them 109-87 May 27 and 86-83 June 20. Former UConn star Bueckers is a serious contender for rookie of the year.
Here’s how to watch the Sun as they take on the Wings Aug. 27.
How to watch and stream the game
The game can be watched live on television on NBC Sports Boston. The game can also be watched on the WNBA’s website and will be streamed on WNBA League Pass.
