A 32-year-old man was fatally shot in the back in the Bronx during a brazen early-morning shooting Tuesday, police said.
The victim was nearing the corner of E. 176th St. and Anthony Ave. in Morris Heights about 8:15 a.m. when a man in a black hooded sweatshirt opened fire.
The victim was hit in the back, cops said.
EMS rushed him to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released as cops track down relatives.
The gunman, who was also sporting black pants and blue sneakers, ran off.
No arrests have been made and a motive for the shooting wasn’t immediately available.
Cops on Tuesday were scouring the area for surveillance footage that could help them track down the gunman.
