Police seek public’s help to find an 18-wheeler driver who fled a crash scene in southern Dallas, leaving another driver seriously injured.

DALLAS — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver of an 18-wheeler who reportedly left the scene of a crash Tuesday morning in southern Dallas.

The crash happened around 6 a.m. on Aug. 19 in the 5300 block of South Cockrell Hill Road, police said.

According to investigators, the driver of the 18-wheeler was heading northbound when the truck struck another vehicle and drove away. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The truck is described as having a blue cab with a star on the side.
