The United States Postal Service (USPS) is now hiring for multiple positions across the Greater Los Angeles area, including City Carrier Assistants (CCAs), Tractor Trailer Operators (TTOs), Automotive Technicians, and Lead Automotive Technicians. The new roles are part of USPS’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its workforce under the Delivering for America 10-year strategic plan.
Open Positions Across Multiple Cities
As of June 20, 2025, City Carrier Assistant roles have opened in several Southern California cities:
- Beverly Hills
- Hawthorne
- Inglewood
- La Habra
- Long Beach
- Los Angeles
- Redondo Beach
- Santa Monica
- South Gate
- Torrance
- Venice
In addition to CCAs, USPS is hiring Tractor Trailer Operators and both standard and lead Automotive Technicians.
In-Person Job Fair on June 27
To support the recruitment effort, USPS will host an in-person job fair on Friday, June 27, 2025, where postal representatives will guide applicants through the updated application process and assist in creating candidate profiles. No appointment is necessary.

Salaries and Benefits
All listed positions are bi-weekly paid and include competitive starting rates:
- City Carrier Assistant: $20.73/hour
- Tractor Trailer Operator: $31.96/hour
- Automotive Technician: $63,658/year
- Lead Automotive Technician: $71,056/year
