The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office and the Chandler Police Department are hosting a forum to talk about the trends in teen violence in the Valley.
PHOENIX — Teen violence is on the rise, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. Officials hope that talking about the issue can help protect kids and keep them out of the criminal justice system.
The Maricopa County Attorney’s office and the Chandler Police Department are hosting a forum to talk about the trends in teen violence in the Valley. This comes a little more than a week after a student was stabbed and killed at Maryvale High School.
The forum will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chandler Public Safety Training Center. Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell, representatives from Justice 4 Preston Lord and other experts will be in attendance, officials said.
12News will stream the forum live in the above video player starting at 6 p.m.
