’90s pop icon Jamiroquai just gave fans major FOMO (fear of missing out). On Friday, pop sensationDua Lipa surprised concertgoers by bringing lead singer Jason “Jay” Kay onstage at her Wembley Stadium show for a duet of the band’s 1996 hit “Virtual Insanity.” Kay looked and sounded like no time had passed since the 1990s.

The singer had teased his surprise appearance with Dua Lipa earlier in the day with a video shared to his social media, but kept his fans guessing until the Albanian singer brought him onstage later the same day.

The “Cosmic Girl” singer, 55, whose full name is Jason “Jay” Kay, is the lead vocalist of Jamiroquai, the band he co-founded in 1992. Kay’s jazzy, funk-infused tenor—and his penchant for wild theatrics and signature hats—defined the group’s sound and image.

In a social media video shared from Friday’s concert, fans were quick to note that the singer’s voice has more than held up over time. One fan wrote, “JK still sounds amazing,” while another added, “Wait, this is insane.”

Virtually insane, to be exact.
