SAN ANTONIO – The Alamo Cityjust got the best of both worlds, all wrapped up in one restaurant.

On Thursday, San Antonio’s first-ever combination IHOP and Applebee’s location hosted its grand opening, marking the latest addition to the company’s concept of combining restaurants.

This comes just months after the first combination IHOP and Applebee’s restaurant in the United States opened, not that far away in Seguin.

The same franchisee who opened that initial location, Ramzi Hakim, decided to expand amid the success of the initial location to one on the north side, near the corner of Loop 1604 and Stone Oak Parkway.

Both restaurant chains are on Dine Brands Global, which is branding the fusion as “one new fast-growing restaurant concept.”

Featuring over 124 menu items, including some unique crossover items, and a full menu that can be ordered at any time, day or night, this restaurant has something to offer everyone.
