JACKSONVILLE, Fla. โ The fourth and final suspect, who police say is connected to a deadly shooting that occurred at a Westside game room last year, has been arrested.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriffโs Office, Traiโxon Smith, 25, faces charges of Murder and Attempted Murder after detectives learned that he was the man behind the gun on the night that 28-year-old Ronald Matthews was fatally shot at the Dragon Arcade around 2 a.m. on Oct. 3, 2024.
JSO said three others, Quraan Goodman, 25, Petrios Britt, 27, and Cheneta Duffy, 33, are facing felony charges resulting from the incident.
“We will work closely with the State Attorneyโs Office to make sure all four suspects face the consequences of their actions and justice is served for Matthews,” police said.
According to JSO, officers responded to the Dragon Arcade, located on Edgewood Avenue North near West Beaver Street, after receiving reports of a shooting.
Early information from the agency indicated that two masked and armed individuals entered the business and shot the security guard, later identified as Ronald Dewitt Matthews III.
Matthews died at the scene, JSO said.
More than nine months after the incident, an arrest report revealed that U.S. Marshals captured Goodman about 20 days after the warrant for his arrest was issued.
Additionally, multiple CrimeStoppers tips identified Goodman as a suspect, the report said, which helped lead to his arrest.
