Aside from the stunning Micah Parsons trade on Thursday, the Dallas Cowboys made a few other transactional moves as the last-minute roster shuffling before the opener against the Eagles continues.
Dallas claimed offensive lineman Trevor Keegan off waivers on Thursday, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles. Keegan was drafted by the Eagles in the fifth round in 2024 and was part of last season’s Super Bowl championship team.

To make room for Keegan, Dallas released WR Ryan Flournoy. The former sixth-round draft selection in 2024 was a fifth- or sixth-string receiver on the Cowboys’ depth chart. He played in 11 games for Dallas last season, catching 10 passes for 102 yards.

Flournoy cleared waivers on Friday, according to Patrik Walker of DallasCowboys.com, and is eligible to return to the practice squad.
The Cowboys will still need to make another roster move, as adding Kenny Clark in the Parsons trade put them one over the 53-man roster limit.
Some young defensive linemen on the Cowboys opened up on the Parsons trade and the challenge that lies ahead.
When Clark spoke with reporters on Friday, he gave off a vibe that he’s all about business.
