FORT WORTH – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ruben Soto, 67, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, just days before his 68th birthday. Funeral Service: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2025 in Mount Olivet Chapel, 2301 North Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025 in Mount Olivet’s Sandburg Suite. Ruben was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who constantly put others before himself. His generosity, compassion and unwavering love left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Born on September 3, 1957, Ruben was the beloved son of the late Mary Lou Cortez and Albert G. Soto Sr. He is now reunited with them in eternal peace. Ruben leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is survived by his cherished siblings, Ruth Marie Soto, Bobbie Ann Ramos,and Albert G. Soto Jr. Ruben was a proud and loving father to Ruben Soto Jr., Maryann Viola Soto, Andreanichole Rainy Ricke and Casandra Lusia Soto. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Ruben Soto III, Andrew Wallace, Anna Wallace, Anthony Wallace, Adrian Wallace, Gabriel Cummings, Gavin Cummings, Gracie Cummings, Gregory Cummings, Mikalah Soto, Christopher Lundauer and Nathaniel Vaca. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren; Claire Coffman and Gael Wallace-Aguilar. Ruben’s love extended beyond his immediate family. He is remembered fondly by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, each touched by his kindness, humor and selfless nature. Ruben Soto will be remembered for his deep devotion to his family and his ability to bring warmth and comfort to everyone around him.
