SAN ANTONIO – An 82-year-old man was knocked off his scooter late Saturday night on the near East Side.
When police arrived at the 600-block of Martin Luther King Drive just after 11 p.m., they were met by the elderly man on his mobility scooter. The man said a vehicle turned left onto Dreiss Street from Martin Luther King Drive and struck him.
The suspect fled the scene without helping the elderly man.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
