SAN ANTONIO — An 18-year-old was hospitalized on Saturday after sustaining injuries from a dog bite incident near Harlandale Park.
Police were called around 5:00 p.m. to the 7200 block of Briar Place on the city’s South Side.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the teen told police he was bit by a large black pit bull that was not on a leash. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the dog or the dog’s owner.
The boy was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries. We reached out to Animal Care Services but have not heard back yet.
