LeAnn Rimes’ Birthday Photos Give Rare Glimpse at Bond With 2 Stepsons

LeAnn Rimes just celebrated her birthday, not only in style, but with her beloved family in a super-rare outing!

In case you missed it, earlier this week, Rimes shared a series of sweet videos featuring her husband, Eddie Cibrian, and stepsons. She shared the photos on her Instagram with the caption reading, “the only place I’d want to be at 43…#family #happybirthdaytome #thisis43 #nobu #nobumalibu.”

In the post, we start with a pic of Rimes and Cibrian hugging, followed by a family pic of them, plus her stepsons Mason and Jake, all smiling from ear to ear.

We rarely see the adorable blended family, but this rare pic shows they’re all having the best time!

For those who don’t know, Cibrian and his ex-wife Brandi Glanville welcomed two sons named Mason, born in June 2003, and Jake, born in April 2007. He and Glanville were together until 2010, when it became public that he had an affair with Rimes on the set of Northern Lights. After they divorced, he and Rimes married in 2011.

In a previous interview with Refinery29, Rimes talked about being a proud stepmom. “When I was first around the kids, I didn’t know what was expected of me,” she said. “Little things that were so childlike about them that I didn’t have about me. It’s been a really big learning experience for me. It’s pushed my buttons, which has always made me look and see where I need more healing on myself. It’s been really rewarding to see them grow up, and know that I have a part in that. That responsibility, to help raise kids, it’s something that hits you really hard. It was something I was up for the challenge of. They bring so much joy to my life, and it’s a new experience every day.”
