An NYPD officer was struck by a hit and run driver in East Flatbush, Brooklyn.
EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (WABC) — An NYPD officer was struck by a hit and run driver in Brooklyn.
The officer was directing traffic on Sunday night at Schenectady and Church Avenues in East Flatbush when suddenly he was blindsided and hit from behind by a black Sedan.
The car kept going and police are now looking for the driver.
The injured officer was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
The investigation is ongoing.
