The Philadelphia Eagles will open the 2025 NFL season Thursday night in primetime against the Dallas Cowboys.
There has been some speculation surrounding A.J. Brown’s health coming into the week one matchup. When asked whether he was healthy and ready to go, he would give a promising two-word update: “Hell yeah!” said Brown to the Philadelphia Inquirer. He would leave practice on August 1st, reportedly due to a hamstring injury. Last season, he missed three games due to a similar injury to his hamstring.
Brown is considered the Eagles’ number one receiver on the depth chart, but if any absence occurs, Philadelphia has another star wide receiver in Devonta Smith. It is crucial, however, to have both weapons on the field at once as often as possible to complement Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley.
The run for a repeat Super Bowl appearance begins this Thursday night in Philadelphia in primetime on NBC at 8:20 PM EDT.
