A fire at a residence near the Exposition Park neighborhood was quickly extinguished, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported Monday.
Firefighters were called at 11:59 p.m. Sunday to 2639 S. Van Buren Place between West Adams Boulevard and West 27th Street where they knocked down the flames, conducted a primary search and then a secondary search, said LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
It took 46 firefighters 27 minutes to extinguish the fire.
No injures were reported.
