Police arrested a 66-year-old man Sunday afternoon after a man was shot and killed in South Dallas.
Police responded to a shooting call at 5:10 p.m. in the 1800 block of Jeffries St. and found a man with a gunshot wound, Dallas police said in a news release. The man, whose name or age were not released, was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
A 66-year-old suspect, Charles Reeder, was arrested and taken to the Dallas County Jail. Reeder faces a murder charge, police said. Jail records show a bond was not set.
