Chinatown – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigators Monday are seeking the public’s help in finding a 63-year-old man who authorities say suffers from dementia and who was reported missing after he was last seen almost a week ago near Chinatown.

Vincent Tyrone Byrd was last seen on Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. on the 400 block of Bauchet Street, north of East Cesar Chavez Avenue, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau

Byrd is Black, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds, has gray hair, brown eyes, a full beard and a tattoo that says “TYRENISHA” on his chest. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, red Dickies shorts, gray and red shoes and a red hat.
