Woman killed in hit-and-run on Northwest Side identified by medical examiner

SAN ANTONIO — A woman killed in a hit and run crash at a Northwest Side parking lot on Sunday has been identified by the medical examiner.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 75-year-old Cynthia Lamar Anthony.

When officers arrived at the 2300 block of Babcock near the intersection with Wurzbach just before 1 a.m., they found an unresponsive woman on the ground. Medical personnel pronounced her dead.

Witnesses told police a woman driving a 2010 Nissan Murano hit the woman and left the scene. No arrests have been made as of yet.
