GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) — It was a wedding day disaster as security cameras captured a heartless wedding crasher stealing tens of thousands of dollars meant to help the new couple start their life together.
The incident happened at the Renaissance Banquet Hall in Glendale on Saturday.
What started as a day of celebration for George and Nadeen Farahat ended in heartbreak when a brazen thief was seen on security video blending into the crowd and swiping the couple’s wedding gift box as the party guests danced.
It was not immediately clear if police know who the suspect is or if there have been any arrests related to this incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
