There was no winner of the $1.1 billion Powerball jackpot on Monday night, leaving the fifth-largest prize in the game’s history to grow even larger.
The winning numbers drawn were 8, 23, 25, 40, 53, and 5 as the Powerball.

With no player holding the winning ticket on Monday, the jackpot is now $1.3 billion.
The next drawing is on Wednesday night.
If a lucky ticket holder beats the 1-in-292 million odds, the winner can opt for a one-time lump-sum payment of $589 million — before taxes — or receive annuity payments of over $5 million annually for over 30 years.
Lady Luck has not been kind to Powerball players this year, with the last jackpot being won on May 31.
Monday’s drawing saw two $2 million winners and 10 $1 million winners, including two in New Jersey and one in New York.
