SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — More changes are coming to San Antonio City Hall.
Assistant City manager Lori Houston has announced after 23 years with the city, she is leaving.
City staffers were informed of her departure when City Manager Erik Walsh sent out an email Friday afternoon.
Walsh went on to credit Houston with “spearheading” planning and development of the city’s plan for a new downtown sports and entertainment district known as Project Marvel.
Houston began her time at City Hall as an intern and was appointed to her current position in 2015.
She tells KSAT 12 her future plans include working part-time with a consulting firm and spending more time with her family.
Her last day with the city will be September 26.
