Pennsylvania House Speaker Joanna McClinton, D-Phila./Delaware, presented her annual Back to School event for William Penn School District students and families.
McClinton and helpers distributed backpacks and school supplies to students.
Students received free backpacks and school supplies, and other organizations were on hand to provide information and resources. Staff were on hand to provide information and answer questions about state programs and resources residents may be eligible for.
The event was Aug. 27 at Penn Wood Middle School, 121 Summit St., Darby.
