Former Jacksonville Jaguars’ wide receiver Gabe Davis is reuniting with his old team.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Davis is signing with the Buffalo Bills. Davis will begin on the practice squad as he recovers from last season’s meniscus injury.
Before signing with the Bills, Davis had also met with Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and the New York Giants at various points during the offseason.
In his one season in Jacksonville, Davis appeared in just 10 games, catching 20-of-42 passes for 239 yards, according to PFF.
Davis recently discussed what went wrong during his one season in Jacksonville.
Davis was released by the Jaguars in early May, leaving behind a dead cap hit of $20.3 million that will be spread out over Jacksonville’s salary cap over the next two seasons.
Before signing with the Jaguars in 2024, Davis had spent the previous four seasons before that in Buffalo, where he was a big-play threat.
