C’mon now.  Elly De La Cruz lost another game Aug. 29, committing two key errors that cost the Reds a win. He now leads Major League Baseball with 22 errors; second place has 15.  Isn’t it time the Reds put De La Cruz in center field, where he belongs? He is fundamentally flawed at shortstop, and after two-plus years, the Reds coaching staff has not been able to correct him.

Let’s hope they do what has to be done.
