It’s still unclear whether Caitlin Clark will face her former NCAA rival Paige Bueckers when their two teams play tonight. Clark missed the Indiana Fever’s game against the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday due to a groin injury, and she has been labeled as “day-to-day” with no word on whether her injury will keep her off the court in tonight’s game against the Dallas Wings. If Clark does play, it will be the first time she’ll face Bueckers since the rookie joined the Wings this season. The two No. 1 draft picks haven’t played each other since 2024 when Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes defeated Bueckers, then playing for UConn, in that year’s NCAA Final Four.
