DALLAS — September is turning up the volume in North Texas with big-name concerts, mouthwatering food, and fall festivals filling the calendar.
From international pop stars to Texas traditions, here are eight concerts and festivals happening across Dallas-Fort Worth this month.
Grab your boas and pearls, because this year’s theme is The Grape Gatsby. Running Sept. 11–14 in the city’s historic downtown, the annual celebration of Texas wines features tastings, grape-stomping contests, carnival games, live music, and a slate of vendors serving up fair favorites.
Pumpkin Nights at Howell Farms (Arlington)
Fall comes to life in Arlington, opening Sept. 19 and running through Nov. 3. Guests can walk through immersive displays built entirely from pumpkins, including themed tunnels, a giant dragon, and undersea scenes.
No September roundup would be complete without the State Fair of Texas. The iconic event returns to Fair Park in Dallas from Sept. 26 through Oct. 19, bringing with it classic midway rides, fried food creations, cultural exhibits, concerts, and of course, Big Tex himself.
