Echo Park: History fan Alex Hanawalt submitted a photo of what looks like an old, wooden railroad tie that was unearthed during roadwork on Sunset Boulevard this week. Could it be part of an old street car line?  “Always cool to be reminded of the history under our feet,” he said.
