SAN ANTONIO — Two people were detained after police say an ATM driver was robbed while servicing a bank ATM machine on the South Side.
Officers responded to a robbery in progress around 1:25 p.m. at 1100 Goliad Road near East Southcross.
Police say they received a call that an atm driver was robbed and the suspects fled in a vehicle. Other officers responding to the scene were able to find the vehicle matching the description and apprehend one suspect who was still in the vehicle. Another suspect fled on foot but was detained shortly after.
Police are not sure at this time how much money was taken and say a gun may have been involved but no injuries have been reported so far.
