HUTTO, Texas – An Amtrak train traveling from San Antonio hit a vehicle south of Taylor.

What we know:

Amtrak says Amtrak Train 22 was traveling from San Antonio to Chicago when it came into contact with a vehicle south of Taylor.

The crash happened at around 10 a.m. (CT).

Amtrak officials say there were 71 passengers and crew on the train and there are no initial reports of any injuries to those onboard.

The train remains delayed at the scene.

The Hutto Police Department confirmed the crash happened near Highway 79 and County Road 110.

Officials say Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is the lead agency and that multiple agencies are on scene.

What we don’t know:

Further details about the crash have not been released.
