Los Feliz Flea expands to … Los Feliz
Los Feliz/Echo Park: The organizers of Los Feliz Flea are expanding their footprint with multiple new offerings. Los Feliz Flea is returning to its original home at Our Mother of Good Counsel, 2060 N. Vermont Ave., every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Starting Oct. 3, organizers will also debut the Los Feliz Village Farmers Market, held Fridays from 3 to 8 p.m. For details, visit vintageland.la. Meanwhile, Los Feliz Flea can still be found at Vintage Land, where it has been for the past 18 months at 1030 Alpine St., running every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Still a hunger for restaurants despite challenges
While the restaurant industry is notoriously difficult, with numerous reports of businesses in trouble or failing, chefs and entrepreneurs are showing plenty of, er, appetite to feed Eastsiders.
