World Naked Bike Ride Houston is next Saturday and begins and ends in EaDo.
HOUSTON — Houstonians may do a double take on city streets next weekend.
The World Naked Bike Ride Houston is set for Saturday, Sept. 13, with cyclists showing skin to raise awareness about what they say is the loss of protected bike lanes.
The 12-mile ride begins and ends at Super Happy Fun Land in East Downtown. Bike riders will meet at 6 p.m. with the ride starting at 8 p.m.
Organizers say Super Happy Fun Land is where World Naked Bike Ride started in 2011.
On its website, the organizers posted, “This year’s World Naked Bike Ride invites you to TAKE THE LANE in fabulous style, riding Bare As You Dare.”
