The Performing Garage—33 Wooster St., Manhattan (SoHo)

Through Sept. 14. Various showtimes.

Golden Globe winner Lili Taylor — known for “Six Feet Under” and “American Crime” — is bringing visual artist Suzanne Bocanegra’s acclaimed work, “Honor, an Artist Lecture,” to the city for its first-ever multi-night run after playing across the country since 2019.

Internationally renowned for large scale installation art, sculpture and performance pieces (some featuring actors such as Frances McDormand, Paul Lazar and Ruth Negga), Bocanegra has accidentally turned what she once referred to as “one of those typical artist slide lectures” into a brilliant work of art after MoMA film curator Larry Kardish asked her to do a lecture in 2009 about a piece of art in their collection.

With “Honor,” she has woven her own personal narrative and infatuation about one of The Met’s colossal 16th-century tapestries (of the same title) into a stage work. In it, Taylor uses the 15 ft. x 26 ft. Bernard van Orley textile to bring life to the personal stories of nearly 70 historical and allegorical figures about honor and dishonor. It’s a lot of fat for the three-time Emmy nominated actress — and new author — to chew on. And she does it well as Bocanegra feeds her direction from the side of the stage via an earpiece.

Tickets are $49.

The Threesome

Regal Union Square — 850 Broadway, Manhattan (Union Square)

Now playing. Various times.

“The Daily Show” breakout Jaboukie Young-White is back on the big screen in “The Threesome,” starring Zoey Deutch, Jonah Hauer-King and Ruby Cruz, with scene-stealing appearances from Josh Segarra, Robert Longstreet and “SNL” alum Julia Sweeney.

And although the openly gay comedian and musician doesn’t get in on the ménage a trois action, his bartender character plays a pivotal role in director Chad Hartigan’s romantic dramedy about the ups and downs of polyamorous relationships.

Hauer-King, of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” fame, portrays Connor — who finds himself in quite the quandary when his threesome partners both end up pregnant. You’d have to go see this engaging, witty flick that doesn’t conclude the way you might expect.

Tickets are $20.49 (plus fees)

Storm Ascher’s Superposition Gallery will be among the more than 230 galleries from more than 35 countries at the new edition of the fair, which director Kyla McMillan says is a “program rooted in New York’s cultural vitality and shaped by dialogue between American and international perspectives.”

Brooklyn-born artist Ryan Cosbert will represent the Walker Street showroom with her work, alongside Marcus Leslie Singleton – a Seattle native known for his distinctive figurative paintings.

Cosbert, whose new body of work begins with a selection of locations, topics, and people from specific places she’s traveled to while investigating the African diaspora, told The Daily News about how she feels bringing her large-scale abstract compositions to the convention center: “It’s an honor to be a part of The Armory Show. More than anything, I’m proud to share work that speaks to who I am, and to the histories and futures that continue to shape us.”

Tickets are $59.
