The Daniel Boone Regional Library is postponing its annual fall book sale scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday.

The freight elevator used moves books up to the first floor is currently undergoing repairs, according to a news release. DBRL said its second elevator is still in use but doesn’t go below the first floor.

The Friends of the Columbia Public Library, the group in charge of book sales, said it will reschedule the book sale for a later date.

Additionally, the children’s book sale scheduled for Oct. 11-12 will take place as planned, according to the news release.
