The upcoming Street Fighter movie cast is gaining yet another star to its eccentric group of fighters, with Legendary Entertainment announcing a new addition to the roster.

Who has joined the Street Fighter movie cast?

In a string of posts on social media, the official Street Fighter movie account officially announced the movie and its cast. While several familiar faces were listed, so was a brand-new one.

Among the many listed actors was UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski, who is set to play the role of Joe. In the games, Joe is a kickboxing champion known for his signature style, and first appeared in the original Street Fighter as one of the game’s opponents.

Volkanovski joins a cast that features a wide-ranging and unique list of stars from across all different forms of entertainment. The cast of the upcoming Street Fighter movie features a star-studded group, including Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Noah Centineo as Ken, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Roman Reigns as Akuma, Orville Peck as Vega, Andrew Schulz as Dan HibikiCurtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog, New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, Indian action star Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, Eric André as Don Sauvage, Olivier Richters as Zangief, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Mel Jarnson as Cammy, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli, and Kyle Mooney as Marvin.

“Set in 1993, estranged Street Fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are thrown back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament: a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “But behind this battle royale lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face off against each other and the demons of their past. And if they don’t, it’s GAME OVER!”

The Street Fighter movie is set to release on October 16, 2026.
