HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football team is preparing to host the Sam Houston Bearcats on Saturday.
The ‘Bows are looking to shake off a 40-6 loss to Arizona last Saturday.
The defensive unit aims to learn from their mistakes made in the Arizona desert.
Questions linger over starting quarterback after Micah Alejado re-injured his ankle against the Wildcats and didn’t practice all week.
“Regardless of the circumstances, we’re going to have our offenses back,” said ‘Bows linebacker Jamih Otis. “When we’re called to go on the field, we’re ready to ride every time. You know, that’s just how the defense operates. We got the offensive’s backs. At the end of the day, we all want brotherhood, so if one falls, we all fall.”
Kickoff between the ‘Bows and the Bearcats is set for 6 p.m. at Clarence T.C. Ching Complex.
