The Torrey Pines High School Foundation launched its annual Falcon Fund campaign on Sept. 3 at Back-to-School Night. The Falcon Fund is the nonprofit foundation’s primary fundraising effort, dedicated to enhancing the learning experience for every TPHS student, according to a news release.
The Falcon Fund provides resources that extend beyond what public funding alone can cover, directly supporting academic enrichment, student wellness programs, classroom innovation, and campus-wide initiatives that have a lasting impact. From new technology and instructional materials to tutoring programs, leadership opportunities, and student wellness, the Falcon Fund ensures that all Falcons have access to the tools they need to thrive, the news release stated.
This year, the foundation is inviting families to participate at a suggested giving level of $300 per student. These contributions enable the foundation to support programs that reach every classroom and benefit the entire student body.
“Launching the Falcon Fund at Back-to-School Night is a powerful reminder that we are all partners in shaping our students’ high school experience,” said Joe Austin, executive director of the TPHS Foundation, in the news release. “Every contribution—whether $300 per student or any amount a family can give—directly impacts opportunities for every Falcon.”
Families, alumni, business supporters, and community members are encouraged to contribute online at www.torreypinesfoundation.org/falcon-fund/
