London man arrested

LONDON, ON (September 5, 2025) – A London man is facing charges following an investigation by members of the London Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section.

In August 2025, London Police Service was notified that a teacher at Bonaventure Meadows Public School had sexually assaulted a student between January and June of this year.

Investigators learned that the teacher began emailing a school-aged girl in January of 2025, and that in April 2025, the man brought her to his residence where he sexually assaulted her. Additionally, they learned that in June 2025 the man touched her inappropriately while at school.

As a result of the investigation, Jamie Cain, 43, of London, has been charged with the following offences:Image of the accused

  • Sexual assault;
  • Sexual interference with a person under the age of 16; and,
  • Luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication.

The accused appeared in London court on August 29, 2025, and was released from custody. He is scheduled to reappear in London court on September 22, 2025, in relation to the charges.

Investigators believe that there may be additional victims and are appealing to members of the public to contact them if they have any information in relation to this investigation, or if they know of similar incidents involving the accused.
