SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Rainy Season continues for the Suncoast, but fortunately for the Markets today, while storms are possible in the morning, storms will mainly develop in the afternoon. The amount of coverage for the storms will vary from day to day. Every day has a possibility of afternoon thunderstorm activity. Sunday may bring a little less coverage than Saturday. Dew points will hold the mid-70s for the weekend, which is average for September. Humidity could drop slightly during the workweek, with dew points in the low 70s.

Thunderstorms are possible both days, but Saturday has the better chance of storm activity. Rip current risk is low, but always check the flags at lifeguard stations.
