HOUSTON – A road rage incident led to a shootout in west Harris County.
The sheriff’s office said a deputy saw a driver run a red light on Clay Road and Greenhouse at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
The officer pulled the driver over and noticed he had a gunshot wound.
The driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police determined the man was involved in a shootout after a road rage incident and fender bender with a box truck.
The driver of the box truck was shot in the arm, but there was no word on their condition.
Police detained several people.
Deputies were reviewing surveillance video of the shooting.
