J. Alexander’s is the latest of several out-of-state companies that are looking to move into the Phoenix market. The Valley has become a destination for these restaurants because of its growing population and relatively cheap real estate.
In the last few months alone, Indianapolis-based restaurant group Huse Culinary announced plans to open a steakhouse called Harry & Izzy’s at the rising PV development, while Texas-based Perry’s Restaurants signed a lease in Gilbert for the first Arizona location of Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille.
