The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County ticked up one-tenth of a cent Saturday to $4.699, its highest amount since June 9.
The average price is 1.5 cents more than one week ago, 14.3 cents more than one month ago and one-tenth of a cent more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.735 since rising to a record $6.434 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price fell four-tenths of a cent to $3.20. It is eight-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 3 cents more than one month ago, but 9.5 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.816 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
