The Fort Worth Fire Department responded to a two-alarm fire at Hulen Mall Friday evening that prompted an evacuation of the two-story shopping center.

Firefighters were working on extinguishing the fire from both inside the mall and its roof, according to an update from the department on Facebook at 7:45 p.m. At the time, there were no reports of injuries at the mall, located at Interstate 20 and 4800 S. Hulen Street in southwest Fort Worth.

The department then said in an update at 8:10 p.m. that the fire was under control and contained to the roof. It also said there were no explosions or roof collapse, instead attributing these reports to the skylights breaking.

It’s not immediately clear what caused the fire.
