The Philadelphia Eagles are waiving Kenyon Green for the second time since trading camp concluded, and months after trading C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Texans for the former first-round pick. The 2022 first-round pick started 23 games in Houston, but missed the 2023 season with a shoulder injury, and was one of the lowest graded players in the NFL last season.

Green returned to play in the team’s final preseason game, but Philadelphia will move on after taking a risk on his potential.

The Eagles have Tyler Steen as the starting right guard, with Matt Pryor, Brett Toth, and Drew Kendall as capable backups.
