Police say Keith Johnson, 21, is facing a murder charge. He was already facing charges in the death of 7-year-old Breon Allen earlier this year.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man arrested in the death of a 7-year-old earlier this year has now been charged in the murder of a 43-year-old woman, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO).

Valondia Norris was shot and killed the morning of April 22, 2024 in an apartment complex’s parking lot in Jacksonville’s Arlington area, according to JSO. Officers responded to the Gregory Cove Apartments on Edenfield Road around 11 a.m. and found that Norris had been shot multiple times.

Detectives previously linked Keith Johnson, 21, in the death of Norris. He had been arrested for accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence in this case. On Saturday, police announced he is now facing a murder charge.
