CHOP parking lot garage protest in South Philadelphia’s Grays Ferry neighborhood

There is opposition to a Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia expansion project in the Grays Ferry neighborhood.

That’s where CHOP has proposed building a parking garage to address employee needs.
Some residents said the garage would bring more traffic, pollution, and health risks to the neighborhood.
